In the 80s, we graphic design graduates were armed with a blue pencil, a technical ink pen, a set square, a light box and drawing board. Pre-digital tools of the trade. The utter frustration (and a certain amount of terror) of only seeing what you’d created when 20,000 odd copies arrived back from the printers. We creatives of a certain age LOVE digital and I for one appreciate it all the more because of what went before.
